I was tired from not much sleep last night and my legs were feeling yesterday's race a little. I warmed up really well, calmed down, and then tried to get ready again at the end. I had my legs feeling about the best I could. I started pretty fast, even though I was in the back of the heat. I went through 400 in 62high or 63low. I knew I really had to move then and started to chase after people. I chased a lot of them down and then tried to outkick some people. My legs felt really strong again which was good. I finished and was happy with that race. I went out and cooled down. I was really happy. I'm very confident now with the races this weekend going into Simplot next week. I know that I need to work on my mental barriers I have developed with certain people when it comes outdoors.

Zach had some awesome races for him this weekend, with two big PR's. I'm excited for him. I feel like we are able to help each other quite a bit, even though we don't run together.

Late this evening I ran 5 miles on the treadmill. It honestly made me feel better. I think those runs like that really help me. It felt a little harder than it should, but the treadmill kept things moving at a good pace.
