I was able to turn today into a pretty solid workout, at least I think. I warmed up and got ready for our time trial. We had to wait for the sprinters to get done and so it wasn't an ideal warmup, but pretty track typical. My butt/hamstrings were feeling a little tight and tired, so I knew it would be tough to run really fast. I tried to pace through the first mile at actual pace and went through in 4:59 or 5:00. I slowed down because I would rather run well next week at districts. I helped pull through Ryan and Fess through that second mile. I finished right behind Ryan in 10:26 which was solid becuase that used to be a pretty hard effort. Which it was but I know I can run much better. After I changed from kinvaras to spikes and ran 4 200s to work on the leg speed. I hit 27, 30, 29, 30. Then I went out and did 25 easy minutes. I'm excited for next week.
