Buhrley wanted me to be his guinea pig today and try out a new workout, so that's what I did. I just kinda flip flopped today and tomorrow since I was planning on a fartlek tomorrow anyways. It was fun to get on the outdoor track though.

I did a good warmup with drills and changed into my Kinvaras. I was supposed to run continuously with 200 meters at mile pace(4:40, 35) and then a 100 recovery in that same amount of time. I did twelve on my first set and was feeling pretty good. I took about a 6 minute break and then did it again. I wasn't sure how many I was going to do, but ended up doing twelve again. I enjoyed the workout and it got the heart rate up. It was a little windy so I was struggling a little more than I would have liked to hit the times, but it was still really good.

After I did 25 minutes easy in my new New Balance 880's, which felt pretty good. Real solid day. I'm excited for outdoor.
