Hungry and tired all day. Not getting a ton of sleep probably has something to do with that.

Took things nice and easy this morning as I want to recover from the awesome run I had Saturday and reap those benefits. 6:56 average. Other than feeling tired in the sense that I could sleep, my body felt fairly good. My calves and hamstrings felt a little tight, and my left hip still isn't quite right, but everything for the most part felt fairly normal. My breathing was relatively hard considering how fast I was going. I did have to stop at a porta-potty, and I used the last ounce of toilet paper, since that was all there was and I wasn't making it to a different one.

My left hip doesn't really seem to affect my running at all, as I normal can barely feel it if at all. However, it will kill me at times when I'm sitting at my desk working on homework. I'm not sure why. It makes doing homework even more unbearable though.

I had a hard time over the first two or three miles getting my breathing to feel right, as I felt like I was on the verge of a sidestitch. I picked the pace up a little bit after that, and my breathing then felt a lot more normal. 6:44 average.

Hit up one of my favorite places to run this morning on my way back from Logan (Fernwood). I honestly tried to be fairly relaxed and enjoy the run on the regular 7 mile route, and I ran right on 49 flat, which is kind of cool considering in high school it was a big deal and we were working super hard to get under 50. I then ran up the Great Western Trail to get the rest of the mileage. These miles were significantly slower because it's some pretty good elevation gain to say the least. Awesome effort though.

I woke up with some sore/tight glutes and hips, so I decided to just put in some miles rather than try and do some faster mile repeats. I basically just went out and chilled for 12 miles, however my chilling was averaging 6:28s. I felt nice and relaxed, and was able to work out a little of the stiffness in my glutes.

Wasn't super motivated to get out the door, but I knew I wanted to run. Took things nice and easy again. The slight downhills bothered my left glute/hip a little. 6:29 average, which didn't even feel hard.

I was hoping to have another super awesome long run like I did last week, but I can't be too disappointed with what I was able to do today. Last week was probably my best run ever, and unfortunately there are off days, and today was one of those days for me. After the first mile I could tell that my body just wasn't responding the best. I stopped at a porta-potty 7 miles which did make me feel a little better and I was able to pick things up a little. Around miles 11 and 12 I started to notice that my left foot was tight, which was influencing my stride and also causing my left hip to hurt. I basically ran the rest of the run with my stride feeling not right due to those two things. 6:18 average
